Tatum plays an Army Ranger en route to a fellow soldier's funeral, along with the title canine who becomes his ally in numerous misadventures. Jane Adams, Kevin Nash and Ethan Suplee are among the human co-stars. ››› (PG- 13: AS, P) (Also on Blu-ray, Digital and On Demand) "THE ALFRED HITCHCOCK CLASSICS COLLECTION: VOLUME 2" More of the most famous films by the screen's "Master of Suspense" are gathered – in the 4K Ultra HD format – in this set. Included among the attractions: "Saboteur," with Robert Cummings chasing a spy – ultimately to the top of the Statue of Liberty; "Shadow of a Doubt," starring Joseph Cotten as a visiting relative with a possibly dark secret ; "The Trouble With Harry," a wry mystery boasting the screen debut of Shirley MacLaine; "Marnie," casting Tippi Hedren as the enigmatic title character and Sean Connery as her admirer; and Hitchcock's final film, "Family Plot," a tale of larceny featuring Bruce Dern and Karen Black. ›››› (Not rated or PG, varying by film: AS, P, V) "MASTERPIECE: SANDITON – SEASON TWO" Even without the original author finishing it, the television adaptation of the saga continued with the PBS drama inspired by Jane Austen's last novel. Charlotte Heywood (still played by Rose Williams) makes her way back to the title seaside resort that's on the cusp of major change in early-19th century England; she remains determined to carve her own life in a society that thrives on convention, especially when it comes to marriage. While Charlotte resists, her sister Alison (new cast addition Rosie Graham) can't wait to find someone to tie the knot with. Wedlock options are supplied by young soldiers fighting in the Napoleonic Wars (two of them portrayed by series newcomers Tom Weston-Jones and Maxim Ays), but heiress Georgiana Lambe (returnee Crystal Clarke) also has her focus elsewhere as a social activist. While Anne Reid, Kris Marshall ("Love Actually") and Kate Ashfield also are back, one Season 1 "Sanditon" star is noticeably absent, since Theo James opted not to return as Charlotte's court-and-spark partner Sidney Parker. (Not rated: AS) (Also on Blu-ray) "JURASSIC PARK" With "Jurassic World Dominion" on its way to theaters soon, the earlier films in the franchise arc are getting separate releases in 4K Ultra HD after being gathered in a collection. Included (of course) is director Steven Spielberg's 1993 original, based on Michael Crichton's best seller, that takes visitors (Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum) to the island resort of a tycoon (Richard Attenborough) who has cloned the DNA of dinosaurs. The stunning result earned three Oscars in technical categories; the superb score is by frequent Spielberg collaborator John Williams. ›››› (PG-13: P, V) "PUSHING HANDS" Celebrated since for such films as "Brokeback Mountain" and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," Oscar-winning filmmaker Ang Lee made his feature directorial debut with this 1991 drama. Relocating from Beijing, a senior citizen (played by Sihung Lung) has trouble acclimating himself to his new life in New York, not helped by his conflict with his daughter-in-law (Deb Snyder). His skills in teaching tai chi eventually prove to be useful as he makes fresh connections. ››› (Not rated: AS, P) (Also on Blu-ray and Digital) "UNCHARTED" Another popular video game became a movie with this action-crammed feature, a box-office hit casting Tom Holland – the screen's latest Spider-Man, also an executive producer of this picture – who joins the search for his missing brother while seeking a treasure discovered by the Magellan expedition. Others (Antonio Banderas, Tati Gabrielle) with less pure motives also are after the fortune, leading to plenty of peril for the hero and his mentor (Mark Wahlberg). Sophia Ali is featured as yet another party in the hunt. DVD extra: "making-of" documentary. ››› (PG-13: P, V) (Also on Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, Digital and On Demand) Mark Wahlberg and Tom Holland in "Uncharted" "Just being able to go sit at the piano and find the intervals and the chords that helped me express how sad I felt or how kind of discombobulated I felt ... you know, that's still where I go. It's that thing that changes the molecules, that gives me a way out." – Sheryl Crow of "Sheryl" on Showtime " a i t h o . w t t S o "That takes a village, so you get as many pictures as you can and play as much as you can when you look that good.
