ROBERT KEITH McMILLEN Robert "Bob" Keith McMil- len, of Indianapolis, passed away August 27, 2021. He was born in Vincennes to Jim and Madge (Horn- brook) McMillen on Decem- ber 7, 1951. He graduated from Peters- burg High School in 1969. He was a kind, gentle and patient man, who spent most his time smiling and laugh- ing or shaking his head in- credulously (aka the McMil- len Headshake) at all the big and small things in life, most things amused him. There was nothing he loved more than his family, friends and dogs. He had a hilariously dry wit. And boy, could he cook. The finest restaurant couldn't hold a flame to his lasagna, al- though he was so humble, he would never agree (at least aloud) to that statement. He was a season ticket mem- ber of the Indianapolis Colts and enjoyed attending the games, and anything at the Indianapolis Motor Speed- way. He liked good music, spending time with his wife at their camper and taking in the scenery on his Harley Da- vidson. He was known by ma- ny as "Beer Man Bob" due to his desire to save a buck and to share that with everyone around him. As quiet as he was, he did not leave one of us with wonder or regret at how he felt about us. It was always simple for him. He loved us all. If you're reading this, he loved you too. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Helming) McMil- len; children, Crystal (Clint) Cunningham, David McMil- len and Sarah (Richard) Fer- guson; four grandchildren, Austin, Ava, Ella and Max; three siblings, Sharon Kleys- teuber, Mary (Don) Boles, and James ( Wilma) McMillen. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at the fu- neral home. JAMES LARRY NELSON James Larry Nelson, 71, of Jasper, and formerly of Peters- burg, passed away on August 29, 2021.
