"Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be" (Romans 8:7). "So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God" (Romans 8:8). Paul tells us to live and walk in our daily lives by the spirit, not the flesh. Satan and his de- mons are at war with believers in this world. "Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephe- sians 6:10,11). I pray that the Holy Spirit will help you and myself when Satan is tempting, and we are about to seek pleasures of the flesh, that we will remem- ber a few minutes of pleasure here in the world cannot com- pare to the eternal pleasures we will receive in Heaven. Blessed are they who are bored with minister's man- nerisms and mistakes, for they get nothing out of the sermon. Blessed is the church mem- ber who expects to be invited to his own church, for he is part of the problem instead of the solution. Blessed are they who gos- sip, for they cause strife and divisions that please me. Blessed are they who are easily offended, for they soon get angry and quit. Blessed are they who do not give their offering to carry on God's work, for they are my best helpers. Blessed is he who profess- es to love God but hates his brother and sister, for he shall be with me forever. Blessed are the trouble makers, for they shall be called children of the devil.
