Ruby, daughter of Evan & Gladys Wright, was born at her parents' home in Vale. She is survived by her three children, their spouses and seven grandchildren: Teresa and Mike Sharp of Mooresville, Todd and Amy Strawser of Charlotte, and Kim and George Kurani and their children of Charlotte; three brothers, Hugh Wright of Vale, Jack Wright of Mooresville, and Fred Wright of Shelby. Due to Covid restrictions and the family's wishes for all to remain healthy, the cel- ebration of life service will be limited to family. Stamey- Tysinger Funeral Home of Fallston will be caring for her burial. Graveside service was open to anyone who would like to attend at Providence Baptist, 7618 Providence Church Road, Hickory on Tuesday, January 26. JUDY WEBB HALL Judy Webb Hall, 75, of Shelby, NC, passed away on January 23, 2021. Born in Cleveland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Otis E. Webb and Minnie Etta McNeily Webb. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Hall; her brother, Charles Webb; and her sis- ter, Janie Webb Carroll. Judy is survived by two daughters, Teresa Wilson of Shelby, NC and Samantha Lundy and husband Ben of Kings Mountain, NC; one son, Patrick "Eddie" Hall of Lenoir, NC; sister, Linda Greene and husband, Joseph of Kings Mountain, NC; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchild children. Graveside service was held January 26, 2021, with Rev. Michelle Johnson offi- ciating. Interment was at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC. NORMAN EUGENE BUMGARDNER N o r m a n E u g e n e Bumgardner, 80, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on January 24, 2021. He was born in Kings Mountain, NC, son of the late Wray Eugene and Ruth Hope Bumgardner. Mr. Bumgardner is sur- vived by his wife, Jeanelle Joyner Bumgardner, of the home; daughters: Laura Leigh Bumgardner of Kings Mountain, NC, Janiece Gregory (Randy) of Savannah, GA, Debra Slaughenhaupt (Skip) of Columbia, SC and Libby Huskins (Bob) of Gastonia, NC; four grandchildren; a great grandchild; and sib- lings: Barry Bumgardner (Jean) and L'Ange Chastain, both of Kings Mountain, NC The family held a private burial on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Gerald Wade Murray Sr., age 63, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021. Born in Cleveland County on October 11, 1957, he was the son of Lola Ball Murray and the late Loyd Gilbert Murray. Mr. Murray served our country in the United States Marine Corps. In addition to his father, Loyd G. Murray he was preceded in death by two brothers Jerry L. Murray, Gilbert E. Murray and one brother-in-law, Arthur David Harding. Wade is survived by his mother, Lola B. Murray; wife, Rita W. Murray; one daugh- ter, Ashley Dawn Murray; two sons, Gerald Wade Murray Jr. and Shannon Wade Murray; three sisters, Brenda Nestlerode (hus- band, Raymond), Lora Faye Harding and Anna Murray; two brothers, Tommy Murray (wife, Vanessa) and Danny Murray; and five grandchil- dren. PANSY EVELYN TALLENT AVERY RITCHIE Pansy Evelyn Tallent Avery Ritchie, age 102, of Crouse, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was born April 6, 1918 in Lincoln County to the late Doc Miller and Cleo Pendleton Tallent. Mrs. Avery was a 1st Grade teacher and taught for over 25 years including time at North Brook II and at Cherryville East Elementary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lester Avery; second husband, Ernest Ritchie; son, Hubert Jacob Avery; sister, Louise Tallent Brown; and brothers, Dwight, Blanch "Brownie," Dean, Gene, and Max Tallent. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Avery Hayes; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and sister, Edith T. Stevens. FRANK RANDALL Frank Randall, 86, of Mooresboro, went home to be with his Lord and Savior January 22, 2021. He was the son of the late William and Alma Randall. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jo Randall; his siblings, Miles, Hubert, Baxter and Bobby Randall, Clara Bridges, Louise Helton, and Verdie Randall; and a grandson. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Brenda Masey and husband John, Linda Harris and husband Phil, Frankie Rollins and hus- band Darrell, Abbie Randall and Bobby Martin; and ten grandchildren; thirteen great- grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Deborah Lynn Philbeck, two daughters, Megan Philbeck (Thomas Waters) and Macy Murray; one sister, Teresa Gay Drewery (Ricky); two grandchildren; two step chil- dren; four step grandchildren; and his Maw Maw. REGINAL WILLIAM "REGGIE" STRUTT Reginald William "Reggie" Strutt, age 72, of Cherryville, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021. He was born July 18, 1948 in Jefferson County, Kentucky to the late Jack William Strutt and Patricia "Paddy" Hoyle Myers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gaye Blaine Beam Strutt.
