Born in Detroit, MI on August 31, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Ladd McIntyre and Josephine Putnam McIntyre. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Ashdown, her stepfather, Bob Lute; and two daughters, Beth Parson and Becky Passino.
