The DARE pro- gram is taught each year to educate the students on drug and alcohol abuse. Ms. Jenny Cherry holds the certificate of com- pletion for the Classroom Kindness Challenge sponsored by Ch. 14 News and Donut Bank. The students completed a variety of kindness chal- lenges such as saying hello to someone new, help- ing someone before they ask and giving a class- mate a compliment. They will be entered to win a "Donut Be a Bully" party for their classroom. Please call ASAP to schedule a time for your child's screening if you have – not done so. Current Pre- K students still need to sign up! The fourth grade students will set up their – projects in the morning un- til 8:45 a.m. The gym will be closed for the day due to judging and fourth grade presentations. April 10 – Fourth grade Science Fair. The gym will be open for PES students to visit. There will be an awards program in the gym at 1:45 p.m. Parents and stu- dents are welcome. April 12 – Pre-school screening. Any child that will be 4 on or before – Au- gust 1, 2019 is eligible to be tested for pre-school. Please call the office to make an ap- pointment. Testing is not a guarantee of acceptance.
