There is no charge to visit the artist, watch her work and be inspired by her process. She will conduct two special workshops for adults. The first, "How to Self-Publish and Fund a Creative Project using Kickstarter.com," will discuss the process Lawton used to publish her own recent book, "The Circus and the Cyclone." It meets from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and is part of the CCC's special "Talent Incubator" series, designed to help emerging artists and performers become established in their fields of specialization.
