Angelea Campione joined the Wisconsin National Guard five years ago, she always knew that one day she would be sent to sup- port U.S. military missions over- seas. On July 6, the 28-year-old Oak Creek resident and member of the 108th Forward Support Company of Sussex joined around 350 of her fellow service men — 70 percent of them preparing for their first deployment — in a send-off cere- mony for their upcoming mission to the Middle East. "It is a lot of mixed emotions: nervous, ready, a little bit excited," said Campione, a battalion mobil- ity officer whose company will be joining two other 121st Field Artillery units in the deployment: Battery A of Sussex and Battery B of Plymouth.
