Rowell didn't just write some sappy romance novel, but the true meaning of love, and how to overcome one's obstacles. The two main characters in the book, an odd teenage girl named Eleanor, and your typical quiet teenage boy named Park, couldn't have been more different. Meeting unexpectedly on a grimy school bus, to soon become an odd couple throughout the entire book. Learning The triumphs of one another, and the small battles they each had to go through really showed how the couple could learn from each other at their worst. Rowell wants to move her audience with the pain and struggles a real couple goes through. With support from one another R o w e l l ' s theme of how o p p o - s i t e s do attract, and with the right support anything can be accom- plished. "What are the chances you'd ever meet someone like that?" he wondered. Someone you could love forever, someone who would forever love you back? And what did you do when that person was born half a world away? The A great way to kill time while having fun. 'Rocket League' has been a popular game across all types of gaming platforms, since the day of release July 7, 2015. 'Rocket League' is a semi challenging game in the beginning, but just like every other game you get better as you get more used to the controls and physics of the game. A plethora of different game modes are contained within the game that can be played; however, the classic mode is similar to a soccer match. A ball is placed in the middle of an arena and a countdown begins. The players are in vehicles that can be customized in thousands of different ways. The objective of the classic game mode is to hit the ball using the vehicle in an attempt to score it into the opposing team's goal. Scattered all around the arena are small speed boosts that can be Logan Carver Staff Writer Emma Hale Staff Writer built up to give the player an advantage of agility over their opponents. In addition, different types of power ups spawn throughout the arena giving the players even more ways to attempt in scoring a goal. The match is a simple three versus three game that ends after the time runs out; if the game is tied it goes into overtime, then the first team to score wins. 'Rocket League' is spread across mostly all platforms: Microsoft Windows, Xbox, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Linux and OS X. Giving players even more reasons to play this game. During the course of the first movie, the Earth was attacked by giant monsters sent by aliens called Kaiju. To combat the Kaiju the United Nations built three-hundred foot tall robots called jaegers. They fought dozens of Kaiju and eventually sealed the portal they were coming out of. Pacific Rim Uprising takes place ten years after the first movie. The main character, Jake Pentecost, is the son of the man in charge of the jaeger program and who died closing the rift. Jake has turned to a life of crime since his father's death and was captured piloting a homemade jaeger. They drop his jail sentence in exchange Straight garbage! It's an overall great nice love story! with a stuggling relationship that he trains cadets to pilot jaeger's at the PPDC Pan- Pacific Defense Corps since he was once a pilot himself. When drones from a rival company start opening rifts and attacking places, it is Jake and the cadets job to put it to an end and save the world again. Their blood is highly explosive and if they successfully make it there, the entire world will be covered in ash and all life will essentially end. I was excited to watch Pacific Rim Uprising because I had enjoyed the first movie and the fresh feel and the pleasing aesthetics. There were definitely some good plot twists and the movie and special effects looked great, but the script felt unfinished and had little effort put into it. I would absolutely not recommend this movie. The fight scenes were cool and the plot was okay, but the acting and script were just horrible. The cadets are all teenagers and their acting is just so fake, I had to shut my eyes I was cringing so bad. Just watch the first one twice to get your fill of giant robot monster fights or have someone else watch it for you then tell you about it. 'Eleanor and Park' affects readers brings challenges math seemed impossible." I absolutely loved this book. It made me go through all the emotions. Cried, then laughed, and then I cried again. Rowell's writing skills are truly inspiring and p o w e r f u l , s w i t c h i n g b e t w e e n c h a r a c t e r s and under- s t a n d i n g how each c h a r a c t e r thinks and feels. Reading the book makes one feel as if they were the characters questioning their love for one another. Questioning if true love even actually exists at all. I recommend this book to anyone who's into a good romance books, or just wants to sit back and forget about the real world for a few minutes to just read. 'Eleanor and Park' does its audience justice in showing that love is a beautiful thing, but it also has its hardships. "I don't like you, Park," she said, sounding for a second like she actually meant it. tranquils users The 'Calm' app " I absolutely loved this book.
