OBITUARIES Lucille Arnold April 8, 2011. Arnold, an Army WWII veteran, was a member of Oakland City F.&A.M. Ma- sonic Lodge #467, Scottish Rite Valley of Evansville, and Oakland City American Legion Post #256. He was retired from A&H Truck Lines after many years of service. Surviving are a daughter, Geraldine E. Welch of Petersburg, died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at VNA Chartier Hos- pice Center in Evansville. She was born in Pike Geraldine E. Welch, 88, County, August 10, 1923, the daughter of Gardner and Agnes (Bullard) Blaize. She married Paul E. Welch Janu- ary 2, 1942 and he preceded her in death March 14, 2005. She was a member of Brenton Chapel Church of Christ in Petersburg. Surviving are a son, Max Alan (Bonnie) Welch of Evansville; a daughter- in-law, Betty Welch of Ma- homet, IL; a sister, Dixie (Jim) Sims of Petersburg; two grandchildren, Hillerie (John) Kandul of Newburgh and Nicole (Dane) Clarke of Gridley, CA; and four great- grandchildren, Carter and Hudson Kandul of New- burgh, Dane and Zachry Clarke of Gridley, CA. A son, Paul Michael Welch, preceded her in death. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. EDT at Harris Funeral Home in Pe- tersburg with Bro. George Fiscus officiating. Burial was in Walnut Hills Ceme- tery. Loveless, 88, 1924 in Pike County, to John and Oma Grace (Hill) Ro- bling. She was the oldest of five children. Brothers, Ermil "Doc" burg, December 30, 1919, to Walter D. and Mernith (Ro- bling) Willis. She married Oscar Billy Hill and he pre- ceded her in death. Surviving are two daugh- ner, 85, of Oakland City, died Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Heritage Center. She was born in Winslow, WILMA L. CONNER Wilma L. (Barnett) Con- April 5, 1927, to Earl and Cora (Willis) Barnett, both deceased. She married Ken Conner and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oakland City where she served the Women's Bi- ble class in many different capacities, taught Sunday school, and served on many other committees and func- tions. Surviving are three sons, Roger, Randy (Zoe) and Rick (Beth) Conner; six grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; and a sister, Phyllis Preston. Four sisters, Eldena Poe- Robling and James Willard "Bud" Robling; a set of in- fant twin sons; and a niece, Cheryl Foster, preceded her in death. She is survived by a neph- Robert W.
