By DAVE FIDLIN Special to The Post MILWAUKEE — A handful of Milwaukee aldermen are backing a nonpartisan group's recently released report that asserts officials in state government are not adequately priori- tizing transportation funds. On Tuesday, Aldermen Bob Bauman, Nik Kovac and Jose Perez and Common Council President Michael Murphy held a news conference at Milwaukee City Hall with Bruce Speight, director of the Wisconsin Public Interest Research Group Foundation. Speight and other WISPIRG organizers are taking aim at the state's plans to spend upward of $3 billion in upcoming years on highway expansion projects.
