Carter McCain tests Cohen Brown's hearing from Mrs. West's Homeroom. Can You Hear Me Now? During the month of October, Carter McCain and Gar- ry Anderson (from Mrs. West's sixth grade homeroom) conducted a hearing test experiment on all sixth grade homeroom classes. The boys had found the hearing test on YouTube and thought it would be interesting to find out whose homeroom class had the best hearing. The following are how the classes ranked: Gulledge – 1st; Weisman – 2nd; Mason – 3rd; West – 4th; Waddell – 5th; Cherry – 6th. If you want to check your own hearing, you will find the test at https://youtu.be/kQXFw6JFbVQ. The EGGcellent Scientific Method Sixth grade students in Mrs. Weisman's science class- es began working with the first two steps of the scientif- ic method. So many trials come in- to our lives and along with the business of life. These things can easily choke out the Life of God in us. This Sunday we look at another of those prophets, Haggai. He say people eas- ily discouraged. They re- membered the "Good Old Days", and complained that nothing was as good as those days were. Had God desert- ed them? Were they left to struggle along on their own? What had happened to all those great promises of bet- ter things to come? Maybe those people are like us in our complaints and disap- pointments? Let's talk about it this coming Sunday. Michael (Mike) Punke, Pastor tervention points to the re- demption God designed for His wayward loved ones: to bring us back to Himself"— Elisa Morgan. How is God's rescue at work in your life? What sto- ries trouble you today? In what ways (however small) can you see God at work in them? Dear God, help me listen as You whisper Your name through the stories of Scrip- ture. Every story. It is so easy to judge others, without looking at what is go- ing on in their lives. We can- not know for sure what could be happening with others. As we judge, then that same judgment is used against us. Let's just love and serve as Jesus did.
