(December 19, 26, 2018 and January 2, 9, 2019) hspaxlp LEGALS LEGALS LEGALS LEGALS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed BIDS for the construction of the City of Petersburg 2018 Community Crossings Matching Grant (CCMG) project will be received, publicly opened, and read aloud by the City of Petersburg Council at the Petersburg City Council Chambers located at 702 E Main Street, Petersburg, IN 47567 at 6:00 pm (Eastern Time) on January 22, 2019. BIDS received aer this time will not be considered. Each BID shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope with City of Petersburg CCMG Project BID and the name and address of the BIDDER clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. e project bid documents (BID FORM and ITEMIZED PROJECT LOCATIONS) may be viewed and obtained at the Petersburg City Hall during normal business hours through the time of BID opening. e scope of the project includes HMA milling, 2,040 tons of HMA resurfacing, sidewalk replacement, and curb ramp construction across 10 City streets. Each BIDDER is responsible for inspection of the project site and understanding the work associated with the contract documents. Failure or omission of the BIDDER to do any of the foregoing shall not relieve the BIDDER from obligations with respect to its BID. Each BID shall include a fully completed BID FORM (furnished by OWNER), the most current version of Indiana Form 96 inclusive of Non-Collusion Affidavit (furnished by BIDDER) Standard Questionnaire, Financial Statement, and other required bid documents as required by Indiana law. e BID shall include sufficient and proper sums for all construction, mobilizations, accesses, labor, materials, permits, licenses, insurances, bonds, etc. incidental to and required for the complete construction of the project. No BID may be withdrawn by the BIDDER for at least sixty (60) calendar days following receipt of a BID. A conditional or qualified BID will not be accepted. Each BIDDER shall deposit with its BID, a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond, made payable to the OWNER, in a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. is check or bond will be held by the OWNER as evidence that the BIDDER shall, if awarded the contract, enter into the same with the OWNER upon notification from the OWNER to do so within ten (10) calendar days of said notification. e OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all BIDS. Award will be made to the low, responsive, and responsible BIDDER. e low, responsive, and responsible BIDDER must not be debarred, suspended, or otherwise be excluded from or ineligible for participation in federally assisted programs under Executive Order 12549.
