BPD continua operativo "Clausura" a dispensarios Detectives y elementos del corpo- rativo municipal sirvieron dos órdenes de cateo el pasado 2 de febrero a varios dispensarios de marihuana en la zona metropolitana de la ciudad de Bakersfield. Los dispensarios de marihuana son ilegales adentro de la ciudad de Bakersfield. Las dos ubicaciones que fueron cateadas ya sabían que era ile- gal la operación de esta clase de nego- cios en la ciudad, y fueron notificados por la Oficina del Abogado de la ciu- dad; sin embargo, se reusaron a cerrar sus puertas y resumieron sus activi- dades. El Departamento de Policia ha y continuará conduciendo operativos de cateo a los dispensarios de marijuana, según dijo el vocero de este departa- mento. Como resultado de este opera- tivo, $3,101.00 en efectivo fueron confiscados junto con una gran can- tidad de marihuana. Durante las in- vestigaciones de ambos lugares, el Departamento de Aplicación de Có- digos junto con personal del Heroico Cuerpo de Bomberos de esta ciudad, descubrieron numerosas violaciones estructurales y determinaron que am- bos edificios no estaban seguros para su uso, por eso se pusieron sellos de clausura en las puertas determinando que los edificios son inhabitables dado a su condición. Hombre muere por causa sospechosa, policía investiga Un hombre murió en su casa en la mañana del pasado 3 de febrero. La causa de su muerte aún no se sabe. Según el vocero del corporativo municipal, el centro de comunicacio- nes del departamento recibió un lla- mado de auxilio a las 0717 horas del 3 de febrero diciendo que dos perso- nas no podían respirar y que estaban en una residencia ubicada en la cuadra número 10 de La Mesa Drive. Al llegar a escena, oficiales descu- brieron a una mujer, un hombre y a tres adolescentes. La mujer fue trasla- dada a un hospital donde se encuentra en condición estable.
