MILWAUKEE — The
Waukesha water deal withstood
its first test before Milwaukee
elected officials and unanimous-
ly passed Milwaukee's Steering
and Rules Committee Tuesday
afternoon.
Both Milwaukee Mayor Tom
Barrett and Waukesha Mayor
Shawn Reilly offered statements
to the committee that described
the effort that went into negotia-
tions between the two munici-
palities while ironing out the
intergovernmental agreement.
