Now on his own, Moore aims to make "S.W.A.T." another leggy prime- time staple. Sigman joins Moore and tries to make 2017 her best year yet by following her outstanding perfor- mance as Sister Charlotte in the summer box office smash "Anna- belle: Creation," with a sure-fire television hit. With less than a de- cade of acting experience under her police duty belt, Sigman has seamlessly transitioned between the big screen and the small, jumping between English and Spanish work. Starring opposite big-name stars such as Bruce Wil- lis, Daniel Craig, Regina King and Felicity Huffman has prepared her to excel in a lead role. The ensemble police drama follows Sgt. Harrelson and Capt. Cortez as they try to balance their personal and professional lives in an ever-changing, dan- gerous world. Together they make a formidable force, how- ever they cannot clean up the city themselves. Leaving the Angels Memorial Hospital emergency room be- hind in favor of the LAPD badge, Jay Harrington ("Code Black") co-stars as David "Deacon" Kay, Hondo's main source of friction. He's an experienced S.W.A.T. of- ficer who is passed over for the command of the unit. "S.W.A.T." also co-stars "Quan- tico's" rising star, David Lim, as Vic- tor Tan. He joins Kay and Harrelson as a young officer who has worked his way up the ladder and through the Hollywood division. Jim Street (Alex Russell, "Unbroken," 2014) brings more youthfulness to the team as the cocky loose cannon and newest member. Rounding out the team are Lina Esco as Christina "Chris" Alonso ("Kingdom"), the team's canine trainer who is not pleased with losing her com- mander, and Dominique Luca (Kenny Johnson, "Bates Mo- tel"), a skilled combat officer and expert driver who always manages to get the team out of a dangerous situation. When not battling treacher- ous criminals on the mean streets of Los Angeles — or each other — Harrelson's team is engaged in a bitter rivalry with another local unit led by the aggressive Jeff Mumford (Peter Onorati, "This Is Us"), who does things very differently. Shemar Moore stars in "S.W.A.T."
