It's that part of the job that drew the focus of Milwaukee County's fraud investigation and apparent- ly got him fired Sept. 14. A 15-page summary report by the county's Audit Services Division said Bonilla awarded a $250,000 contract to associates he knew from his work days in Florida and received preferential treatment. Hanson Professional Service Inc. received an onsite visit of Timmerman for a proposed business plan for the airport, the Audit Services report revealed.
