Volunteers are our greatest natural resource Volunteers are one of our most valuable assets at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The 1,400+ volunteers make each day special for thousands visitors, inspiring them to protect our ocean. They contribute in so many ways — engaging children, educating schoolkids, cleaning exhibits and windows (from the inside!) and of course, feeding and caring for animals from sea otters to sharks. Thank you, volunteers, for all you do!
