Lead Senior Auditor, Allstate
Marisol Martinez is a cer-
tified public accountant who
holds a lead senior auditor posi-
tion at Allstate in the company's
Northbrook headquarters. She
has previously worked as a se-
nior auditor at RSM US LLP
and a supervisor accountant at
Kessler, Orlean, Silver & Co. PC.
Marisol has seven years of ex-
perience working with clients in
the public and private sectors.
Her current focus is operational
internal auditing.
Marisol has diverse experien-
ce in auditing and accounting
for nonprofit organizations, em-
ployee benefit plans, investment
partnerships, private sector edu-
cational institutionalized clients
and operational internal audits.
She drives the execution of audit
engagements in an effective and
efficient manner with a positive
attitude that is evident in her
client/team interactions.
Marisol earned her
bachelor's and master's degrees
in accounting from the Univer-
sity of Illinois at Urbana-Cham-
paign. She is an active member
of the Hispanic Alliance for
Career Enhancement (HACE),
which she considers her way
to "pay it forward." She volun-
teered in HACE's El Futuro pro-
gram, where she shared her life
experiences, both positive and
negative, with inner city youth
and told them how she was
able to continue to pursue her
dreams.
It was HACE and her mentors
that helped her navigate "Corpo-
rate America" and how to pursue
her professional goals. Marisol
has been a member of HACE
since 2005, when she utilized
HACE's resources to develop
as a student and professional.
In September of 2015, Marisol
transitioned onto the National
Board of Directors for HACE as
their treasurer.
