Forsberg finished college while in the military, during which time she also met her husband, earning a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Illinois in 1997. Serving for 9 years, Forsberg was en- couraged to seek out opportunities to grow, which helped her become the busi- ness woman she is today, she said. "My experience in the military taught me my skills in management, organiza- tion, leadership and how to work well with both men and women," Forsberg said. Outside of work, Forsberg is an ac- tive member of the Kelly-Griggs House Museum Board of Directors and enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband, Eric, have two daughters, Emma, 15, who is a freshman at Red Bluff High School and Lynsey, 12, who is in seventh grade at Berrendos Middle School.
