Forsberg knows how to break the mold and persevere

third generation in the glass industry
and the second in Red Bluff, who started
out working for her father, Bill Moule, in
2000 before eventually buying the busi-
ness.
If Forsberg had to give just one bit of
advice to women going into business it
would be to never give up, she said.
"Don't allow the fact that you're a
female mean you can't do something,"
Forsberg said. "It's not unusual when I
walk up to a job site to be asked 'what
are you here for?' ey don't imagine
I'm here to measure things. It's fun to
break expectations when they learn I'm
a licensed general contractor."
e construction industry has changed
over the years and thanks to do-it-your-
self shows it is becoming a more popular
industry for women. ere are still times
Forsberg says she's not the person people
expect to see on a construction site.
Moule's Tehama County Glass is one of
several shops in the North State owned
by her family, all stemming from the
original shop established in Grass Val-
ley in 1949. Forsberg's father, formerly
a teacher in the Chico area, opened the
Red Bluff location in 1978 and of his 11
siblings, all 9 boys went into the glass
industry with several opening their own
businesses.
Forsberg started out at Sacramento
State for two years following graduation
from Red Bluff Union High School in
1989. She changed her major multiple
times and when she went in the fih
time to change to the medical field,
