She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Brenda Richards of Fallston, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Lawrence Hoyle of Fallston, NC; and two granddaugh- ters and three great grand- children. Mrs. Cochran was pre- ceded in death by her husband, Lester Franklin Cochran Sr.; parents, Jarvis Pearson and Verdie Blanton Pearson; sister, Doris Bright; and two brothers, Irvin Pearson and Obie Pearson. She is survived by her son, Frankie (Sherry) Cochran and her daughter, Leslie (Michael) Duncan BYNUM PARKER Mr. Bynum Parker, age 89, of Ellenboro, NC, passed away on September 2, 2016. A graveside service was held at the Rehobeth United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lattimore with military honors. Mr. Parker served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Coleen Parker; father, Charlie Albert Parker; and a grandson.
