BROADWAY, PRINCETON 812-386-0065 By Cindy Petty South Gibson Star-Times Staff staff@sgstartimes.com If you are looking for quality furniture at reasonable prices, you need to head to Richard's Furniture & Mattress today! Owner Richard Thomas is currently of- fering his entire stock of furniture at liqui- dation prices, due to a need to install a re- quired fire alarm, smoke system and emer- gency lighting. "This is a great opportunity for you to buy quality furniture at emergency pric- es," Thomas said, "and we would appreci- ate your help in this emergency." Thomas opened Richard's Furniture and Mattress to be one of the largest furniture stores in the Tri-State. "I intend to offer one of the largest inven- tories available with American-made furni- ture at the lowest possible prices," Thom- as said. The store opened in the spring of 2014 at 225 West Emerson Street in Princeton (a former well-known 118 year-old Method- ist church building). Thomas kept all the stained glass windows. "The stained glass is a national treasure and I tell people, if nothing else, it's worth a visit to our store to see the beautiful dis- play," Thomas said. Thomas and his wife, Jennifer, felt there was a need for a high-quality, low-price fur- niture store in the area. The full service store offers room carpeting, bedding, bed- room, dining room, kitchen, family room and living room furniture, along with spe- cialty decorator items. More than 30 Amer- ican name brand companies are represent- ed including Jamison, Catnapper, Jackson, Vaughan and Bassett. "We are locally owned and operated with a no-commission sales staff. We can help you get financing. It's big-city inventory with a hometown touch," Thomas said. Richard's Furniture and Mattress is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and can be reached at 812-385 -3855. pping sh A-6 Shopping Wednesday, November 11, 2015 The Press-Dispatch
