Cedarburg Art Museum hosts two unique exhibits
CEDARBURG — Two exhibitions
featuring nationally recognized artists are
open to the public at the Cedarburg Art
Museum, W63 N675 Washington Ave.,
through April 12.
"Doris White: Abstract Evolution" is an
exhibition featuring a Wisconsin artist who
won national awards for her watercolor
paintings in early years and transitioned to
purely non-objective works by later years.
The show titled "In Light We Trust" features
pinhole photography by Martin Morante,
Hal Rammel and Vicki Reed. These artists
have been recognized beyond Wisconsin for
their classic photographic techniques in a
digital age.
Works of the pinhole photography artists
and some of White's pieces are for sale
during these exhibitions. Gallery hours
at the museum are Wednesday through
Saturday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., and Sunday,
noon - 4pm. For information,
visit www.cedarburgartmuseum.org
or call 377-6123.
