Wyatt Clement Gr: 12 Red Bluff High School's annual Holiday Classic tournament has been a tradition here at our campus for 25 years now. Holiday classic began as a small girls basketball tournament with only local teams in Northern California. Now the 2014 Holiday classic tournament is a huge tournament consisting of 16 basketball teams which will battle in this tournament for a total of 4 days to find out which team will win first place. Teams all over California and Southen Oregon are coming into our small town for this tournament. For girls basketball their farthest competitor is from Ferndale, a city in Humboldt County. Lake Oswego, a city in Southern Oregon is where the farthest boy's basketball team is from. This small tournament has developed into a large highly competitive tournament for Varsity girl's basketball, Varsity boy's basketball, JV wrestling, and Varsity boy's soccer. Not only is this tournament just for sports teams and player, but it is also a whole week of celebration and spirit here at Red Bluff High School. We had a Kick Off assembly in the PAC on Monday to get the entire school in spirit for Holiday Classic week. Our school also has different dress up days for spirit week each day. Then to end spirit week and finials we have a massive Holiday Classic Rally on our last day of school for the semester, December 19, that maybe the most anticipated rally of the year here at our campus. This year's Holiday Classic Tournament ends December 20, 2014. Red Bluff High School's annual Holiday Classic tournament returns Will Macdonald Gr: 12
