We become defensive and judg- mental in an attempt to free ourselves from the pain, while others close their eyes and escape through fantasy or depression. At some point, we surmise; there must be a better way. I have asked myself; what is this life's purpose? With that small willingness to see things differently, a light beckoned to reveal the truth. I began to awaken and reconcile the contradictions and calamities of my life. Suddenly, a new path appeared with choices I did not see before; the path to enlightenment, freedom, true peace, happiness and Love. Within the pattern of life's tapestry, there lies a para- gives the world all of its meaning. Only you have the power to change your mind and change the world. There is no world outside of your mind. You will go as far as you will allow yourself, then you will rest, and return to go farther still. Some realize the truth only at the point of death, but I have seen it through my experiences, which clearly contradict the world's teachings. Even the consideration of knowing is a para- dox. The minute you hold onto the thought that you know something, the idea creates a state of autonomy, or separation; and you be- come unable to truly know anything. Knowl- edge comes through you from the great Source of all creation. Only when you relinquish the idea of your separateness and connect to your Source do you truly join with awareness and become a conduit of Truth. The Universe is relative; however, our lives and actions within this dream are not carried out in "Training ground for the faithful. Make no mistake God is here, shoot- ing star. Man refuses to see truth when belied is more comforting. Our consciousness dictates our physical being when the rift in conscious- ness between those willing to evolve and those who hold tightly to their worldly idols grows too great new life is created in form; a new realm. As Mother Theresa discovered, "I have found the paradox that if I love until it hurts, then there is no hurt, but only more love." To receive, you must give. To have, you must relinquish. We subsist within this illusory world of separation, yet we know intuitively, we are all one. Life and death, spirit and matter, real and unreal are the great paradoxical obscu- rities we uncover if we are to know the truth. To know the truth, however, you must undo your thought about what you believe the world to be. Your beliefs keep the world in chains. Belief is powerful and thoughts are mighty. Il- lusions are just as strong in their effects as is the truth. However, when you question your thoughts effects', its source is questioned and a new way of perceiving is discovered. You have enslaved the world with your fears and doubts. Your pain and sorrow keeps the world a prisoner to your beliefs. Your mind vain. It is our function to be happy, to enjoy this earthly experience, and gain the awareness of our True selves through our relationships with our brothers. The key to happiness is in choosing Love. Fear will rise up. You will be tempted to join forces with it, thinking it will protect you; how- ever, your experience will tell you your salva- tion does not lie there. You will be shown time and time again your happiness lies in choosing Love. The Universe manifests our desire to experi- ence whatever we wish. You can change your experience, simply by changing your mind. Life is simple, but not always easy. Therefore, strive to be true to your highest Self in every moment, learn to love everyone and every- thing, and have faith the Universe will provide exactly what you need in every moment. Three
