We only have one driver in Pike County so he is a one man show," said Robin Tate, Mission Deliv- ery Specialist for the Amer- ican Cancer Society. "He does an excellent job and makes people feel they can get treatment when they need it. He has a passion to help people in their commu- nity, when they need help the most," said Tate. She said she hopes they can find more volunteer driv- ers so Tom will have some relief and so they can offer the service to more people. Anyone wishing to volun- teer to be a driver can call ei- ther Tom at 812354-2083 or the American Cancer Soci- ety at 800 -227-2345. Tate said that number can also be used by cancer pa- tients needing help getting to their treatments.
