After someone has been reborn or saved they claim his sacrifice that day on Mt. Calvary or Golgotha. They crucified him and the malefactors, one on the right hand and the other on the left. After both had mocked Jesus with their mouth, one repented and asked to be remembered and Jesus said "today thou shall be with me in Paradise", an exchangable word for Heaven. Work is good, if it follows being born again by the Saviour. Not by going through a class and joining the church, and still a sinner. I am afraid that we have some churches full of this kind of members and won't have a change. I have heard one say we all know we are Christians because Grandma told us we were (when we were small), and that was her testimony for the Saviour. Preachers need to get out and move around and find out what is going on in the world. I really don't know how some preachers handle Hebrews 12:14 where Paul writes: "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:" Holiness and no man or person is permissible.
