Conan: Conan TV Media O'Brien Welcome to the 'Community': Greendale Community In high school, President Obama signed a girl's yearbook, calling her "sweet and foxy." Of course now he calls her "Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano." According to a new poll, the majority of Americans are OK with the Obama administration listening to our phone calls. Guys approve because they feel it increases security, and women approve of Obama's policy because finally a man is listening. The Tonight Show: Jay Leno (R) So we will be out of money by October. Here's my question: what happened to all that money we gave them last April 15, huh? People are still talking about that over-the-top Miley Cyrus performance at the VMAs last Sunday. Why couldn't Kanye West interrupt that? Burger King announced that they have a new burger coming out next week, a French fry hamburger. I knew once we started legalizing marijuana these are the kind of menu items we would get. College is getting a new professor — one whom audiences may find more familiar from another series. "Breaking Bad's" Jonathan Banks ("Identity Thief," 2013) has been cast in an 11-episode story arc for "Community's" upcoming fifth season, and the transition could certainly be jarring for audiences. In AMC's runaway hit drama he played the brutal Mike Ehrmantraut, and he won't be the first "Breaking Bad" alumni to make the transition to NBC's hit comedy — apparently the folks in charge at Greendale Community like men with an edge to them. Giancarlo Esposito ("Revolution"), who played Gustavo Fring in "Breaking Bad," guest starred in two episodes last season. Banks' new role is Prof. Pat Nichols, a criminology professor with a mysterious and traumatic past. With a career in Hollywood stretching all the way back to the 1970s, Banks hit new heights when he was cast in "Breaking Bad." His powerful performance as Ehrmantraut has earned him an Emmy nomination (2013), back-to-back Screen Actors Guild Award nominations (in 2012 and 2013) and won him a coveted Saturn award in 2013. "Community" has been a quiet hit for NBC since its premiere in 2009. Although its ratings have never hit the lofty levels of some of its comedy brethren, such as "The Office," it's attracted an extremely loyal following and has been a darling with critics. FolJonathan Banks as seen in "Breaking Bad" Music in December: The hills are alive with the sound of ... Carrie Underwood? In what's pretty sure to be one of the biggest television events of the 2013 holiday season, NBC will be putting on a live TV production of the classic musical "The Sound of Music." The two lead roles have been cast, and fans of the classic 1959 Broadway production and 1965 film adaptation will want to mark Dec. 5 on their calendars for this very special, very musical event. Multi-platinum music superstar Carrie Underwood will be taking on the iconic role of Maria Von Trapp, the aspiring nun who's left her abbey to take on the task of raising the widower Capt. Georg von Trapp's seven children — and, of course, finds herself falling for her charismatic employer. No less a star has been picked up to portray the captain in this production. British actor Stephen Moyer ("True Blood") will portray the decorated war hero struggling to raise seven children alone in Austria on the cusp of the Second World War. When "The Sound of Music" first hit the Broadway stage in 1959, it took audiences by storm. Based loosely on a true story, the production went on to win the Tony Award for best musical, and Mary Martin won best actress for her performance as Maria Von Trapp. BIOTA CARTOGRAPHY CLIMATE COUNTRY CRATER DELTA EQUATOR FAUNA FLOODPLAIN FLORA FORESTS GLOBE GRASS GULF HILLS INLET ISLAND LAKES LATITUDE LAVA MAGMA MAGNETIC POLE MANTLE MAPS MARSH MESA From the list, find each word and circle its letters in the puzzle above to reveal the message relating to this week's theme.
