April 2023 • News Graphic & Daily News • Exploring the Arts • 3 Regner Rocks: The summer concert series is held in Regner Park, 800 N. Main St., West Bend and run by the HomeTown Foundation. No information has been released yet on this year's lineup, but three other events are planned for the park: June 16 and 17: Biergarten, with music by Buckshot and Eric Diamond on Friday and Buckshot and FM Rodeo on Saturday. Regner Fest: July 14 and 15: Music by The Toys, from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and by Buckshot from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. German Night: July 19 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Music by River City Blaskapell from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Slinger's Music in the Park concert series is hosted by the Slinger Parks and Recreation Department. It is held Wednesdays, May 24 to Aug. 16. There will also be one final "Music in the Park" event on Oct. 6. Concerts run from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Community Park, 128 Kettle Moraine Drive. In addition to live music, attendees can purchase beverages from a beer garden and food from Ney's Meats & Sweets. Its vision is to be a world-class historic, yet modern, experience venue providing a vital creative space for and with the community. And that includes providing live music across all genres. Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday nights from June 16 to Aug. 17. The 2023 lineup is expected to be announced in late April or early May. Gathering on the Green: Mequon's Rotary Park's signature event, Gathering on the Green is held the third weekend in July and specializes in providing memorable experiences through top musical entertainment. Ann Wilson of Heart will perform Saturday, July 15th with special guest Starship, featuring Mickey Thomas. On Sunday morning, Rise and Shine in the Park will feature the Christian country trio Cain. Friday night will be focused on community and fundraising for a special project. The Mequon- Thiensville Community Foundation will host the event, which will be a fundraiser for a planned pedestrian and bicycle path that will connect Rotary Park with the Ozaukee Interurban Trail. Concerts run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It is presented by Grafton Area Live Arts, with presenting sponsor The Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce. To watch for a schedule, go to https:// grafton-wi.org/. Country in the Burg 2023: Country in the Burg's goal is to bring some of the top country music artists to Cedarburg and to raise money for the military, Children's Hospital and other charities The concerts are held in August in Cedar Creek Park in Cedarburg. Performing this year are Kip Moore, Sara Evans and Restless Road on Friday, Aug. 25 and Lee Brice, Michael Ray and Tyler Farr on Saturday, Aug. 26. The Cedarburg Art Museum's beer garden and live music will return this year, along with its partnership with Lakefront Brewing. Enjoy open outdoor seating and food and beverages available for purchases. Held at Shully's Cuisine & Events, 146 Green Bay Road, Thiensville. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.. Live music goes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Planned for this year are: June 8: Random Maxx Aug. 3: Eddie Butts Sept. 7: Five Card Studs Best Dam Blues: Billed as Wisconsin's premier two-day blues festival, the event along the Thiensville Village Park dam features some of the best blues musicians from around the country.
