18 ENTERTAINMENT EXTRA Royal Center Locker Plant 1 x 9" By Caroline Collacutt TV Media W hen someone has been a mainstay on our televi- sions for over 60 years, there's certainly a reason why. Be it charisma, charm or talent, Martha Stewart seems to have it all: from soap-brand commer- cials to the "Martha Stewart Show," hers is a face of day- time television that we've grown to know and trust. And this week, the award- winning lifestyle maven, busi- nesswoman and television per- sonality welcomes viewers back into her kitchen for a second helping of new recipes and tasty treats, as Season 2 of "Martha Cooks" begins stream- ing on The Roku Channel Monday, April 3. In each 30-minute episode (there are 10 in all), viewers join Stewart in her Bedford farmhouse kitchen, where she cooks fresh pasta, pizza, waf- fles, lobster and more. "Working with world-renowned chefs and dear friends, she will reveal techniques and how-to instructions like only Martha can," the related Roku news release says. Known for her educational content on all things cooking, housekeeping and gardening, Stewart takes a more relaxed approach in "Martha Cooks," visiting "some of her favorite places to create some incredible cuisine, confections and treats." According to IMDb, Stewart kicks off the new season by preparing a chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy alongside a green salad and a vinaigrette dressing. For dessert, she is joined by guest Kevin Sharkey, executive vice presi- dent of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, who assists Stewart in making butterscotch and hot fudge sundaes. Other guests in Season 2 include Christian Petroni ("Food Network Star"), Honey co- founder George Ruan, chefs Ignacio Mattos and Anne Mayhew, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver ("Jamie's One Pan Wonders") and many more. Both "Martha Cooks" and "Emeril Cooks" are produced by Marquee Brands, and after premiering on the video streaming service last fall, the two series scored second sea- sons that are — once again — exclusive to The Roku Channel. If "Martha Cooks" still leaves you hungry for more, you can stream complete seasons of Stewart's other shows, such as "Martha Bakes," "Martha Stewart's Cooking School," "Martha Stewart Living" and, of course, Season 1 of "Martha Cooks." Catch all 10 episodes when Season 2 of "Martha Cooks" launches Monday, April 3, on The Roku Channel. Round two: More 'Martha Cooks' arrives on Roku Martha Stewart, seen here in "Martha Bakes," also hosts "Martha Cooks" Confess, Fletch Master sleuth "Fletch" (Hamm) has been framed! Or has he? When a priceless art collection goes miss- ing and is held for ransom, it's up to the master of disguises to solve the case. Making matters more complicated, the art belongs to the father of Fletch's girlfriend, Angela (Izzo), and now Fletch is the prime suspect. Venturing from Italy to Boston, the bumbling detective works to clear his name and help save the treasures. Meanwhile, as friends, family and colleagues old and new begin to investigate, the only common consensus seems to be "confess, Fletch." Director: Greg Mottola.
