Offering unprecedented access to the talented drivers and the hard-working teams that bring the races to life, "Drive to Survive" follows them through their racing season as they compete for the 2022 FIA Formula 1 world champi - onship. With all-new rules that prove to be a game-changing challenge for both teams and driv- ers, this season will prove to be anything but predictable. WHAT'S NEW ON PRIME "The Consultant" - Season 1 This Friday, Feb. 24, Prime pre- mieres its twisted new series, "The Consultant," a darkly comedic workplace thriller based on the 2015 novel of the same name by Bentley Little. The series stars Christoph Waltz ("Django Un- chained," 2012) as Regus Patoff, a new consultant who is hired to im- prove the business at a mobile gaming company in Los Angeles. Exploring the sinister relationship between boss and employee, the series follows along as the employ- ees on CompWare experience a new host of demands and chal- lenges that put everything — in- cluding their lives — into question. Created and executive produced by showrunner Tony Basgallop ("Servant"), "The Consultant" is directed by Matt Shakman ("Wan- daVision"), Daniel Attias ("Home- land"), Charlotte Brändström ("The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power"), Alexis Ostrander ("Su- pergirl"), Karyn Kusama ("In Treat- ment"). WHAT'S NEW ON HULU "Bruiser" (2023) Onyx Collective and Hulu present the new drama film "Bruiser," premiering Friday, Feb. 24, on Hulu. The film follows 14-year-old Darious (Jalyn Hall, "Till," 2022) as he searches for his place among his friends, fam- ily and in the world in general. Guided by his hard-working but stern father, Malcolm (Shamier Anderson, "Invasion"), and his calm, nurturing mother, Monica (Shinelle Azoroh, "Swagger"), Darious explores the boundaries of manhood through the tumul- tuous interactions with his fa- ther. When Darius befriends and turns to a charismatic drifter named Porter (Trevante Rhodes, "Moonlight," 2016) for help af- ter being beaten up, his new ac- quaintance's true identity threat- ens to unravel the foundations of his family. An exploration of fa- thers, families, generational vio- lence and toxic masculinity, "Bruiser" marks director Miles Warren's ("Huntress," 2018) fea- ture film debut. Written by Ben Medina, who collaborated with Warren on the 2021 short, "Bruiser," the cast of the film is rounded out by Frank Oakley III ("Sweet Magnolias"), Jonah Bishop-Pirrone ("Law of Attrac- tion," 2020), Sarah Bock ("Pink- fong & Baby Shark's Space Ad- venture," 2019), Kiah Alexandria Clingman ("Thick Skin"), Moses Jones ("Playing Through," 2022), Gavin Munn ("Raising Dion"), Ava Ryback ("Life & Beth") and Jay Santiago ("Ghostwriter"). "Snowfall" - Season 6 The sixth and final season of the FX crime drama "Snowfall" pre- mieres Thursday, Feb. 23, on Hulu. Over the course of the series' pre- vious five seasons, "Snowfall" has chronicled the story of how an off- the-books CIA operation contrib- uted to the destruction that rock cocaine leveled upon the vibrant community of South Central L.A. in the 1980s. Now, Season 6 catch- es back up with the cast in Octo- ber 1986, as civil war threatens to destroy the Saint family. A desper- ate Franklin (Damson Idris, "Me- gan Leavey," 2017) is forced to rob his Aunt Louie (Angela Lewis, "Top Five," 2014) and Uncle Jerome (Amin Joseph, "To Live and Die and Live," 2023) after being wiped out by former CIA officer Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson, "The Wilds"). Meanwhile, Louie has tak- en over Franklin's role as Teddy's sole buyer, undercutting her neph- ew and creating a competing em- pire in the process. As Franklin fac- es losing everyone he loves and ev - erything he's built for himself, he faces down the KGB, DEA, CIA and the corrupt, fully militarized LAPD C.R.A.S.H. units.
