Romero's horror classic gets 4K Ultra HD treatment in a new "Collector's Edition." As with the story that spun off this one, "Night of the Living Dead," the plot finds survivors of a virus battling for survival against zombies generated by the illness. Cast members include Ving Rhames, Sarah Polley, Jake Weber, Mekhi Phifer, Ty Burrell ("Modern Family") and Lindy Booth. The package also includes a Blu-ray disc encompassing both theatrical and unrated cuts of the film – with the latter fulfilling its promise of being quite graphic. An audio commentary features director Zack Snyder ("Justice League," "Watchmen"). ››› (R and unrated versions: AS, P, GV) "SESAME STREET – ELMO & TANGO: FURRY FRIENDS FOREVER" The title makes it reasonably easy to know what to expect from this all-family release culled from one of the most classic of all children's series. Pets are the main theme of the segments included here, with Elmo's adopted puppy Tango sparking much of the fun. He has a number of canine friends who also display great spirit, the intended result being to teach young viewers – and maybe some older ones, too – how to care properly for animals. Kacey Musgraves, Keke Palmer and Jon Batiste are among the guests in the collection, which also features a related episode of "Elmo's World." ››› (Not rated) (Also on Digital) "ANGRY NEIGHBORS" The status of the main characters is described accurately by the name of this comedy, with stage and screen veteran Frank Langella as a retired writer who's far from happy to find his Hamptons residence suddenly bordered by an extremely showy mansion. That site's owner (Bobby Cannavale) becomes the target of the novelist's wrath, which eventually turns physical – to the effect of a sledgehammer being used. Stockard Channing, Cheech Marin and Ashley Benson ("Pretty Little Liars") also appear in the film, based on Roger Rosenblatt's book "Lapham Rising." ››› (R: AS, P, V) "NEXT EXIT" An experiment to follow people into the afterlife fuels this sci-fi tale, with Karen Gillian of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the researcher behind the project. The media attention given to it draws two subjects played by Katie Parker and Rahul Kohli, each with a secret that is destined to be exposed by their participation; the result could prove lethal, given all that isn't known about what could happen. Another notable cast member is Rose McIver, who's enjoying a big series success with CBS' "Ghosts" (and who worked with Kohli earlier on "iZombie"). ››› (Not rated: AS, P, V) "PETER FALK 4-FILM COMEDY COLLECTION" His best-known role arguably was that of television sleuth Columbo, but veteran actor Falk also made his share of movies, four of which are compiled in this Blu-ray collection. "Big Trouble" is a murder-scheme comedy that reunites Falk with Alan Arkin, also his co-star in the original version of "The In-Laws"; "The Cheap Detective" is a Neil Simon-written spoof along the lines of his "Murder by Death," in which Falk also appeared; "Happy New Year" remakes the French heist comedy "La Bonne Annee"; and "Luv" adapts a play in which an unfaithful spouse (Falk) wants a troubled friend (Jack Lemmon) to take his wife (Elaine May) away. ››› (PG, R and unrated, varying by title: AS, P, V) "BONES AND ALL" Two people, played by Timothee Chalamet (also a producer of the picture) and Taylor Russell, lean on each other to make their ways in the world – with a definite twist, since both are prone to cannibalism – in director Luca Guadagnino's version of Camille DeAngelis' novel that fared well on the film-festival circuit. Their 1980s road trip hardly is typical, given what their mutual cravings are ... and as they encounter others with danger always lurking, the situation poses the question of whether the couple even is safe in each other's company. Rest assured that even though the tale is a love story at heart, there's enough violence to land it firmly in the horror category as well. Mark Rylance, Michael Stuhlbarg, Chloe Sevigny and Jessica Harper also appear. ››› (R: AS, P, GV) (Also on Blu-ray and On Demand) Taylor Russell "Ever since the 35th anniversary, we all sort of like get together at certain times of year at these conventions and it was just so much fun. It was like, I don't know, going to a college reunion, although I've never done that. But it was more than that because everybody has continued to do really interesting things in their lives and so we always have a good time together." – Gates McFadden of "Star Trek: Picard" on Paramount+, on her periodic reunions with her former "Star Trek: The Next Generation" castmates " a l t c j l to a d m e to t s g G o o p h T c "The episodes that I've watched that I wasn't involved with ... it's just a completely different tone and tenor, so I think each episode is like a stand-alone featurette." – Michael Chiklis, one of the directors as well as one of the stars of "Accused" on Fox, about the nature of that anthology series " w i a to e s – o w o a a "Forest is wonderful to work with. I adore him because I think he's present. And when you're present as an actor, you're not pushing, you're engaged and you're connected.
