Jim Koury is a seeker of personal truth, and desires to empower oth- ers to find their own personal truth, whatever it may be. He is also an ac vist who is not afraid to speak his mind, and ruffle some feath- ers, if necessary. His main objec ve is to get people to think and think for themselves. He espouses Aristotle's mantra, "It is the mark of an educated mind to en- tertain a thought without accep ng it." Jim does not force his views on others but just puts them out there for folks to think about and discard if they wish. Welcome to the December issue of Diversity Rules Magazine. It is hard to believe we are in the last month of the year. What a fast one, eh, as they usu- ally are, I guess. We can only hope for bigger and be er things for us all in 2023. Time marches on. We have to make the best of it. This month's feature is a pre y neat one. It features singer Tom Goss, and the release of his new EP en- tled, "A Big Fat Gay Ass Christmas." Diversity Rules Magazine welcomes Noel Hoffman who interviewed Tom. It's a great interview and the EP sounds like a great listen. Many of his biggest pop hits today are odes to them, and his latest album, his first-holiday EP, pays homage to the world's biggest and most famous papa, Santa Claus. The album is called Big Fat Gay Ass Christmas and it includes spirited songs like "Santa Slay," "Put that Ass in Christmas," "Sassy Santa," and "Ho Ho Homo." Joining Tom on the EP are some of the biggest names in gay hip-hop, gay rock-and-roll, and gay country music. His frequent collaborator, de ROCHE, appears on "Ho Ho Homo," bringing the song to life with vo- cals that sound like a group of carolers on a doorstep. "De ROCHE and I have been making music together for over a decade," Tom says. "I want her to be a part of everything I do un l the end of me." Tom Goss's Big Fat Gay Ass Christmas is available on Apple Music, Spo fy, and all major digital pla orms. Visit h p://tomgossmusic.com. This month's feature also contains several other hol- iday-themed ar cles that I am sure you will enjoy. It also has some of our regular columnists such as Stu Schwartz, and Joey Amato, with their Sans Clothing and Price Journeys columns, respec vely. Joey takes us on a tour of Oklahoma City, OK, this month. OK City is a rather fascina ng place. Another noteworthy men on is the ar cle about Olympic Swimmer Greg Louganis' auc on to benefit children and the LGBTQ community. Make sure you go to his website as men oned in the ar cle, and check out all the great memorabilia he is auc oning off. Enjoy the issue and have a great holiday season tak- ing part in whatever it is you all celebrate. See you in January 2023!!! My Two Cents A Message From The Editor James R.
