Prior to joining the Foun-
dation, Lorenzo spent a de-
cade covering colleges, uni-
versities, academic medical
centers, foundations, and
other non-profits as an inves-
tment banker with J.P. Mor-
gan and Barclays. While at J.P.
Morgan, Lorenzo served as a
project manager for the firm's
Hispanic Leadership Forum,
supporting development and
retention efforts.
Hailing from the Bronx and
Brooklyn, and the proud son
of Mexican immigrants from
Puebla, Lorenzo has led va

ty and economic opportunity
alongside United Neighbor-
hood Houses, Sponsors for
Educational Opportunity, and
Columbia University. He is a
2020 Council of Urban Profes-
sionals (CUP) Fellow and was
a 2019 Hispanic Association
on Corporate Responsibility
(HACR) Leadership Pipeline
representative for J.P. Morgan.
Lorenzo holds a B.A. in fi-
nancial economics with ho-
nors from the University of
Rochester and is a CFA char-
