This marks the second consecutive year Garrison has won Best of Show. "I could have never imagined getting this recognition two years in a row," he said. The drawing took Garrison approximately 55 hours total accumulated time to complete over about four months. "I try to name my drawings after Bible Verses and Job 12: 7-10 seemed appropriate for this year. "Though not intended, I liked the particular pose of this gorilla as it appears to be a prime version of Rodin's The Thinker. The 100 Counties in 100 Days campaign was a new initiative by NCDHHS' Forensic Tests for Alcohol (FTA) branch and other traffi c safety partners to increase Driving While Impaired (DWI) awareness across the state by providing Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT) mobile units in all 100 North Carolina counties during the 100 Deadliest Days of Summer — the period of time from Memorial Day to Labor Day when fatal vehicle crashes increase. The BAT mobile units conducted 204 high visibility engagement events, organized 59 educational traffi c safety presentations in 29 counties, removed more than 472 impaired drivers from North Carolina roadways, and educated more than 20,000 people on dangers of impaired driving and consequences associated with DWI. BAT-mobiles are operated by the Forensic Tests for Alcohol Branch, a division of NCDHHS. TrafÐic Safety Initiative Helps Save Lives Article Provided By: NCDHHS
