But who's counting? Certainly not the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, which left the nominations by outlet off its tally of nods during its July 12 announcement due to the way streaming and broadcast/cable networks have combined forces in recent years. But in case you're scoring at home, HBO and HBO Max lead with 140 nominations among all outlets, followed by Netflix with 105. The 74th Emmy Awards air Monday, Sept. 12, on NBC (and also streams for the first time on Peacock). Kenan Thompson hosts as series such as HBO's "Succession" (a list-topping 25 nominations) and "The White Lotus" (20) and Apple's "Ted Lasso" (20) figure to get plenty of stage time.
