WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR CONLEY MEDIA 2 JULY 2022 By Grayson Sewell gsewell@conleynet.com 262-306-5043 WASHINGTON COUN- TY — The 164th annual Washington County Fair will be held from July 26 to July 31 at the Washington County Fairgrounds locat- ed at 3000 County Highway PV in West Bend. The six- day fair will have a host of activities, including con- certs, tractor pulls, carnival rides and much more. Below is an overview of the fair activities as of June 1, and schedules may change, according to the Washington County Fair website. EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES Ag Adventureland and the petting farm will be open all day long each day of the fair, according to the guide. Dinosaur Dimensions will have multiple shows a day inside the West Bend Mutual Insurance building, Pleasure Valley Pig and Duck Races will take place five times each day of the fair and there will be appearances by several Green Bay Packers and strolling entertainers everyday, according to the guide. Season passes can be purchased for $30 for adults (ages 13 and up) and $14 for kids (ages 7 to 12-years old)., according to the guide. TUESDAY The 2022 Washington County Fair will kick-off at 3 p.m. on July 26, according to the fair guide. The West Bend Mutual Insurance Pavilion will be open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. with indoor shopping, food, Dinosaur Dimensions and informa- tional booths. The carnival will open at 5 p.m., and there will be bands playing on the Do Drop In Music Stage and Why Go By Music stage between 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Check out the music pre- view to see who will be play- ing on which stage and when their show will start. The day will end with a fireworks display at the Silver Linings Amphithe- ater at dusk, according to the guide. Admission tickets are $3 for ages 7 and up, according to the guide. WEDNESDAY July 27 is Military Day at the fair, according to the guide. There will be an opening ceremony at the West Bend Mutual Insur- ance outside pavilion at 9 a.m. for Military Day, as well as numerous activities throughout the day, which will wrap up with a Flag Retirement ceremony at 8:15 p.m. The West Bend Mutual Insurance Pavilion will once again have indoor shopping, food, Dinosaur Dimensions and informa- tional booths from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to the guide. According to the guide, the Horse Pull will take place at 7 p.m. in the Eques- trian Complex and Music Bingo will take place between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the WTKM Pavilion. There will be an assortment of bands on the Devenport Stage, Do Drop In Music Stage and the Why Go By Music Stage between 11:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. Check the music preview for who will be playing on which stage, and when their show will start. Admission on Wednes- day is $7 for adults (ages 13 and up), $5 for seniors (ages 60 and up), $4 for youth (7 to 12-years-old) and free for the military and one guest. The carnival will open at 1 p.m., and the Wednesday special is a $14 pay one price from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and a $25 pay one price from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., according to the guide. THURSDAY On July 28 the West Bend Mutual Insurance Pavilion will open at 10 a.m. and close at 10 p.m., again, and the Ziegler Family Expo Building will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., according to the guide. According to the guide, there will be an archery demonstration from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Ziegler Family Expo Building, the Washing- ton County Jr. Livestock Auction Buyers Social will be at 4:30 p.m. and the Wash- ington County Jr. Livestock Auction, which will be held in the Farm Progress Arena at 6 p.m. There will be bands play- ing on the Devenport Stage, Do Drop In Music Stage, Why Go By Music Stage, Entertainment Tent and Silver Lining Amphitheater between 5:30 p.m. and 1 a.m. Check out the music pre- view for who will be playing on which stage and when their show will start. The carnival will have its Special Disability Ride Day from noon to 2 p.m., and will open to the general public at 1 p.m., according to the guide. Thursday is also dollar ride day from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and $25 pay one price will be from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission ticket prices for Thursday are $10 for adults (ages 13 and up), $5 for seniors (ages 60 and over) and $4 for youth (ages 7 to 12). FRIDAY On July 29 the Ziegler Family Expo Building will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the West Bend Mutual Insurance Pavilion will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to the guide. Musical acts will be per- forming on the Devenport Stage, Why Go By Music Stage, Entertainment Tent and the Silver Lining Amphitheater between 2 p.m. and 1 a.m., read the music preview for who will be playing on which stage and when their show will start. Admission ticket prices for Thursday are $10 for adults (ages 13 and up), $5 for seniors (ages 60 and over) and $4 for youth (ages 7 to 12). Carnival rides will open up at noon, and there will be a $25 pay one price spe- cial from noon to 5 p.m., according to the guide. SATURDAY On July 30 there will be Breakfast at the Fair from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Amer- ican Legion Building. Enter at gate five, and there will be free admission if you enter before 8 a.m., accord- ing to the guide. The Ziegler Family Expo Building will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the West Bend Mutual Insur- ance Pavilion will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to the guide. There will be a rooster crowing contest at 10 a.m. in the Small Animal Barn, Music Bingo from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the WTKM Pavilion and an archery demonstration from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Ziegler Fam- ily Expo Building, accord- ing to the guide. According to the guide, bands will be playing from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on the Devenport Stage, Do Drop In Music Stage, Why Go Back Music Stage, Enter- tainment Tent and Silver Lining Amphitheater. SUNDAY On July 31 the Ziegler Family Expo Building will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the West Bend Mutual Insurance Pavilion will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., according to the guide. There will be an archery demonstration from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the Ziegler Family Expo Building, Music Bingo from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the WTKM Pavilion and the tractor/truck pull at 12 p.m. at the pull track by the Silver Linings Amphithe- ater, according to the guide. Bands will be playing from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the Devenport Stage, Do Drop In Music Stage and Why Go By Music Stage, read the music preview to see who will be playing on which stage, and at what time.
