NONA TONEY BARRIER Nona Toney Barrier, 75, of Shelby, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022. Born in Cleveland County on May 10, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Chivis Blaine Toney and Villa Reed Ivester Toney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include her hus- band, James Allen Barrier; two sons, Adam Wade Barrier and Michael James Barrier both of Atlanta, GA; one daughter, Lana Barrier Mull and husband Scott of Shelby; one sister, Alice Jane Miller of Decatur, GA; and five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Rod is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Reedy; his brother, Richard Raymond Reedy and his wife, Judy of Oklahoma. Rod had one son Rev. Eric D. Reedy and wife Michelle of Polk Co., and three daughters Jamie Lynn Starnes and her husband, Jimmy of Rutherfordton.
