She is survived by her daughter, Cheyenne Faith Carter; a son, Travis Matthew Carter; mother, Lucille Carico; a granddaughter; her siblings, Charlie Wease, Adam Wease, Jonathan Wease and Brandon Wease. LARRY KENNETH KING Larry Kenneth King, 67, of Ellenboro, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022. Born in Buncombe County, on November 25, 1954, he was the son of the late Mark King and Sue King. He is survived by his com- panion, Laura Lynn Cable; two daughters, Rachel Cable and April King both of Ellenboro; sister, Sandra Hawkins of Ashville; and three grandchildren. ODELL JUNIOR HAMRICK Mr. Odell (Ricky) Junior Hamrick, 66, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 4, 2022. A native of Cherokee County, he was the son of the late Ben and Mary Sue Dover Hamrick. Cherishing his memory are brothers, Donald (Deborah) Hamrick, of Blacksburg, SC and William R. McMurray (Diane),of Shelby, NC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Victor Hamrick. A Celebration of Life ser- vice was held April 6, 2022, at Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Sellars offici- ating. NONA TONEY BARRIER Nona Toney Barrier, 75, of Shelby, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022. Born in Cleveland County on May 10, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Chivis Blaine Toney and Villa Reed Ivester Toney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include her hus- band, James Allen Barrier; two sons, Adam Wade Barrier and Michael James Barrier both of Atlanta, GA; one daughter, Lana Barrier Mull and husband Scott of Shelby; one sister, Alice Jane Miller of Decatur, GA; and five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Born in Washington County, Ohio on December 17, 1965, he was a son of the late Charles Richard Ledford and Sharon Lynn Place Ledford. Mr. Ledford served our country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his brother, Scott Ledford of Shelby; and three sisters, Sandi Murray of Casar, Kari Thomas and husband Brian of Casar; and Amber Oaks of Lawndale. In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by and three uncles. He is survived by his aunts and uncles. The funeral service was held April 6, 2022 in the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Devine officiating. The burial followed the service in the Cleveland Memorial Park. She is survived by her mother, Summer Nicole Houser Brookshear (Joseph); father, Richard Clay Johnson (Tammy); one brother, Noah Jonson; one sister, Kaydi Coker; and her maternal grandparents. He was born May 23, 1953, in Pratt, Kansas, to the late Albert William Reedy and Wilma Ann Reedy. Rod was preceded in death by his older brother Ronald Parker Reedy. Rod is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Reedy; his brother, Richard Raymond Reedy and his wife, Judy of Oklahoma. Rod had one son Rev. Eric D. Reedy and wife Michelle of Polk Co., and three daughters Jamie Lynn Starnes and her husband, Jimmy of Rutherfordton. Christine was born in Cleveland County, to the late Dorse Newell Wright and Mattie Lee Martin Wright. She is also pre- ceded in death by her hus- band, William "Billy" Van Greenway.
