But fans of the show won't have to wait long to get their next Kar-Jen- ner fix: The famous family's all-new reality series, "The Kardashians," premieres its first season on Hulu on Thursday, April 14. While family members and production teams have kept the details of the new series a well-guarded secret, "The Kardashians" is being heralded as an intimate journey into the next chapter of their lives. "You'll see us evolving as a family, fans want us to be who we are and since mo - ment one, they've been emotionally invested in our show just like we are," momager extraordinaire Kris Jenner said in a presentation about the show at Disney Upfronts. "The fans will love seeing us continue the journey. I can't say much about what's coming, but spoiler: we're going to look fabulous and every- one's going to watch." With evolv- ing businesses, growing families and endlessly intriguing personali- ties, mom Kris and daughters Kim, Khloé, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie have tons to catch audiences up on as this new chapter in their lives takes off. And for those who want to catch up on all things Kardashian before the new show premieres, past seasons of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" are also available to stream on Hulu. Settled in the hands of showrunner Danielle King ("Million Dollar Listing New York"), the series is executive produced by "Keeping Up With the Kardashi - ans" creator Ryan Seacrest. WHAT'S NEW ON NETFLIX "Anatomy of a Scandal" - Season 1 Dive into the sordid affairs of Brit- ain's elite in the new psychological thriller anthology series "Anatomy of a Scandal," streaming on Netflix on Friday, April 15. Based on the novel of the same name by British writer and journalist Sarah Vaughn, the six-episode season is a gripping courtroom drama about a sexual- consent scandal, delving into the personal and political lives of Britain's richest and most powerful citizens while exploring "where the truth lies between justice and privi- lege" (per Netflix). Rupert Friend ("The Death of Stalin," 2017) stars as Minister of Parliament James Whitehouse, who lives a blissful life in a privileged world with his wife, Sophie (Sienna Miller, "American Sniper," 2014), and their family until a scandalous secret suddenly comes to light and unravels their whole lives. From creators, writers and executive producers David E. Kelley ("Big Little Lies") and Melissa James Gibson ("House of Cards"), the series is directed by S.J. Clarkson ("The Defenders"). Michelle Dockery ("Downton Ab- bey"), Ben Radcliffe ("Pandora"), Naomi Scott ("Aladdin," 2019), Josette Simon ("Wonder Woman," 2017), Jonathan Coy ("The Scarlet Pimpernel"), Violet Verigo ("New Skool Life"), Rita McDonald Damper ("London Fields," 2018) and new talent Kudzai Sitima also star in the series. "Hard Cell" - Season 1 English actress, comedian and writer Catherine Tate ("Dr. Who") breaks into Netflix with the new mockumentary comedy series "Hard Cell," premiering on the streaming service on Tuesday, April 12. Set in the fictional female prison HMP Woldsley, the six-episode season takes place over six weeks as the inmates rehearse for a musi- cal, bringing together an eclectic group of women as they grow in confidence and strengthen their friendships. Meanwhile, Tate, the creator, director and writer of the series, plays multiple oddball characters, from Gov. Laura Willis, who believes creativity leads to rehabilitation, to Big Viv, a psy- chopathic lifer in the prison, and many more in between. While the series boasts off-beat hilarity, "Hard Cell" also leans into some of the realities and brutal truths of the penal system. Co-written by Alex Carter ("Living the Dream," 2013) and Niky Wardley ("The Catherine Tate Show"), the series also stars Wardley, Christian Brassington ("Poldark"), Donna Preston ("The Hitman's Bodyguard," 2017), Lorna Brown ("The Batman," 2022), Peter Singh ("Hampstead," 2017), Lisa Davina Phillip ("Boxing Day," 2021), Stacey Guthrie ("Bait," 2019), Caroline Harding ("The Bad Mother's Handbook," 2007), Jola Olajide ("Creeped Out"), Duncan Wisbey ("Anna Karenina," 2012) and Suzie Chard ("Boys on Film 19: No Ordinary Boy," 2019). "Our Great National Parks" - Season 1 Audiences are invited to explore the wonder and natural glory of some of the planet's most awe- inspiring national parks in the five-part docuseries "Our Great Na- tional Parks," premiering on Netflix on Wednesday, April 13. Executive produced and narrated by former U.S. President Barack Obama ("We the People"), the series brings viewers along to experience nature in the world's most iconic national parks across five continents. Telling the stories of the parks through the lives of its wild residents big and small, "Our Great National Parks" explores humanity's changing re- lationship with wilderness through wonder, humor and optimism. Over the course of its five-episode run, "Parks" travels from Monterey Bay, California, to Kenya's Tsavo Nation- al Park, Indonesia's Gunung Leuser National Park, Chilean Patagonia and more. A Wild Space produc- tion in association with Freeborne Media and the Obamas' Higher Ground Productions, the series hails from executive producers James Honeyborne ("Blue Planet II") and Tonia Davis ("Ada Twist, Scientist") and producer Sophie Todd ("Wild About Your Garden"). WHAT'S NEW ON DISNEY+ "Ice Age: Scrat Tales" The snow may be thawing as spring begins, but the ice age continues in the new Disney+ series "Ice Age: Scrat Tales," premiering Wednes- day, April 13, on the platform. A six-episode miniseries featuring a new animated short in each episode, "Scrat Tales" follows the adventures of the Ice Age fran- chise's hapless and lovable saber- toothed squirrel, Scrat (voiced by Chris Wedge, "Ice Age," 2002), as he experiences the ups and downs of fatherhood with his adorable and mischievous child, Baby Scrat (Kari Wahlgren, "Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness"). As the pair bond with each other, they also battle for ownership of the highly treasured acorn, creating mayhem along the way. Featuring a story and direction by producer Don- nie Long ("Home on the Range," 2004), "Scrat Tales" is also pro- duced by Anthony Nisi ("Spies in Disguise," 2019) and executive produced by Wedge and Robert L. Baird ("Big Hero 6," 2014). WHAT'S NEW ON APPLE TV+ "It's the Small Things, Charlie Brown" (2022) The Peanuts gang is back for another holiday adventure in the new special "It's the Small Things, Charlie Brown," available to stream on Apple TV+ on Friday, April 15. This time, Charlie Brown, Linus, Snoopy, Lucy and the rest of their friends gather together for a special Earth Day adventure. Using the classic Peanuts animation style and cartoon comedy, the kids (and ani- mals) face a brand-new adventure as they work together to overcome new obstacles in their way. While they grow, they learn together and explore all the amazing things — big and small — that Earth has to offer. From Canadian family media company WildBrain, "It's the Small Things, Charlie Brown" is produced in association with Apple TV+. WHAT'S NEW ON PRIME "Outer Range" - Season 1 Uncover a terrifying mystery in the new Prime original thriller series "Outer Range," premiering on the Amazon streaming platform on Friday, April 15. Josh Brolin ("No Country for Old Men," 2007) stars in the series as family patriarch Royal Abbott, a Wyoming rancher. While the Abbott family is reeling from the disappearance of their daughter-in-law, they are forced for fight for their ranch when the neighboring Tillerson family makes a play for their land. In the midst of a property war and while trying to keep his family together, Royal uncovers an unbelievable, super- natural mystery on the edge of Wyoming's wilderness. Created and written by new talent Brian Wat- kins, "Outer Range" is directed by Jennifer Getzinger ("Mad Men"), Alonso Ruizpalacios ("Gueros"), Amy Seimetz ("Alien: Covenant," 2017) and Lawrence Trilling ("Alias").
