On a whim, she proposes to a total stranger (Owen Wilson) who attends one of her shows, then it's a major question whether each of them can find personal comfort in each other's world. At least for a while, it turns out not to be easy. DVD extras: five "making-of" documentaries; audio commentary by director Kat Coiro and producer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas; deleted scenes; outtakes; music video. ››› (PG-13: AS, P) (Also on Blu-ray, Digital and On Demand) "ORDINARY PEOPLE" Oscar's best picture of 1980 makes its Blu-ray debut, marking Robert Redford's debut as a director, which was honored with its own Academy Award. Timothy Hutton was an individual Oscar recipient as well as troubled young Conrad Jarrett, struggling to recover from a tragic family loss that has generated extreme tension between him and his emotionally reserved mother (an atypical, brilliant Mary Tyler Moore). Judd Hirsch is excellent as the psychiatrist trying to help him, and Donald Sutherland does wonderfully understated work as the man of the Chicago-suburb family. Elizabeth McGovern is charming in her first screen role in the adaptation of Judith Guest's novel. Hutton and Guest are interviewed in included "making-of" documentaries. ›››› (R: AS, P) "SUPER BOWL LVI: RAMS VS. BENGALS" Pretty much anyone who's interested knows the outcome of last month's championship football game, but just in case, far be it from us to possibly spoil anything for anyone by naming the winner as this official recap of the contest is released on home video. The conference playoff games that led to this matchup were nail- biters, and keeping in that tradition, this showdown between the Los Angeles and Cincinnati teams – and their respective quarterbacks, Matthew Stafford and Joe Burrow – also has its moments. Notably, the Rams were playing at home in their new stadium. ››› (Not rated) (Also on Blu-ray) "YOUNG ROCK: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON" That's "Rock" as in Dwayne "The Rock"'Johnson, whose upbringing forms the basis of this NBC comedy series (which had just started its second season). Though he appears in the episodes to frame whatever the given story is, he's mostly represented by younger actors (namely, Adrian Groulx and Bradley Constant) as the road to his start in the wrestling profession is traced. Johnson's relationships with various family members also are represented, a key one being with his fellow-wrestler father Rocky (Joseph Lee Anderson). Many critics surprised by how much heart the show has, making it more than what might have been anticipated as a mere cash-in on Johnson's huge fame. ››› (Not rated: AS) "PURSUIT" John Cusack has been mixing some overtly villainous characters into his repertoire of roles, and he has one in this melodrama, casting him as a crime kingpin whose son (Emile Hirsch) is a gifted hacker. The latter launched a desperate search for his kidnapped wife, and he gets next to no help from police in finding the drug-cartel members who committed the abduction. The circumstances prompt the hacker to go on the run and try to find his spouse himself, though the cops stay on his tail. Co-stars include Jake Manley, Elizabeth Ludlow, William Katt and Andrew Stevens (the latter also a producer of the picture). ›› (R: AS, P, V) (Also on Blu-ray and On Demand) "SING 2" This entertaining, animated sequel – which fared quite well at the box office during the past holiday season – brings much of the original "Sing's" voice cast back, including Matthew McConaughey as the enterprising Buster Moon, who wants to put his cast of animal performers in a big show. To get the attention of the mogul he wants to impress (voice of Bobby Cannavale),and wants to back the intended venture, he tries to add a rock-music legend (voice of Bono) to the talent roster ... but many complications await the plan. Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Nick Kroll, Tori Kelly, Halsey, Pharrell Williams and Nick Offerman also are among those heard here. ››› (PG: AS) (Also on Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, Digital and On Demand) "Sing 2" "There's a best-picture marathon the day of the Oscars (March 27), so if you want to gear up for the awards, my colleague Alicia Malone is going to have 'All About Eve' and 'An American in Paris' back- to-back ... two of the best best-picture winners of all time.
