Selena Gomez ("A Rainy Day in New York," 2019), Steve Martin ("The Pink Panther," 2006) and Martin Short ("Schmigadoon!") star as three true crime-obsessed strangers who suddenly find themselves at the center of a case. When there is a grisly and suspicious death inside their very own exclusive Upper West Side New York apartment building, the trio suspects it may be a murder. Recording their own true crime podcast as they go to docu - ment the case, the group unravels a mystery deeper than they could have ever imagined. From the bril - liantly creative minds of creators Steve Martin, Dan Fogelman ("This Is Us") and John Hoffman ("Looking"), this darkly hilarious series also stars Aaron Dominguez ("Shaft," 2019), Vanessa Aspillaga ("Hustlers," 2019), Ryan Broussard ("Jack Reacher: Never Go Back," 2016), Michael Cyril Creighton ("Spotlight," 2015) and Jeena Yi ("Manifest"). "The D'Amelio Show" - Sea - son 1 Take a deep dive into the life of TikTok's most famous family with the new reality series "The D'Amelio Show," dancing its way on to Hulu on Friday, Sept. 3. TikTok dancing sensation Charli, 16, and her 19-year-old sister, Dixie, rose to social media fame with their takes on popular dances and fun content. The sisters, along with parents Marc and Heidi, are bringing their lives to the small screen as they trade in ordinary life for swanky dinners, record deals and a fast-paced life in Los Angeles with their fellow social media stars. With more than 150 million TikTok followers between them, the D'Amelio girls took the digital world by storm. Now, fans can get to know the family even better during eight up-close-and- personal episodes in the show's premiere season. WHAT'S NEW ON NETFLIX "Sparking Joy" World-renowned tidying expert and author Marie Kondo is return- ing to Netflix with "Sparking Joy," airing Tuesday, Aug. 31. When her book, "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing," sky- rocketed to international success after its release in 2014, Kondo's KonMari method of decluttering and organizing became an inter- national obsession. Her first Netflix reality series, "Tidying Up with Marie Kondo," helped individu- als choose joy and improve their lives with home makeovers. Now, "Sparking Joy" is sharing a piece of Kondo's own world and using the transformative power of tidying up to help people find happiness and balance in their lives, applying the fundamentals of the KonMari method to implement positive change in businesses, relationships and communities. So, get ready to clean up your life with Marie Kondo when this honest and uplifting series makes its debut. "Q-Force" Get into the hilarious new adult animated series "Q-Force" when it lands on Netflix on Thursday, Sept. 2. A handsome secret agent named Steve Maryweather (voiced by Sean Hayes, "Will & Grace") and his team of secret agents are Q-Force, the first team of LGBTQ+ agents in the American Intelligence Agency. The team goes on hilarious and action-packed adventures to prove themselves to their bosses, but a wrench is thrown into their plans when a straight man (voiced by Da- vid Harbour, "Black Widow," 2021) is added to their team. From the creative writing and directing team of Sean Hayes and Michael Schur ("The Good Place"), "Q-Force" also voice stars Gary Cole ("Veep"), Patti Harrison ("Shrill"), Gabe Lied- man ("Kroll Show"), Laurie Metcalf ("Ladybird," 2017), Matt Rogers ("Our Cartoon President") and Wanda Sykes ("The Upshaws"). WHAT'S NEW ON DISNEY+ "Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles" (2021) Grammy-winning artist Billie Eil- ish (known for the 2019 hit "Bad Guy") makes her Disney+ debut with a new musical special, "Hap- pier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles," on Friday, Sept. 3. Com- ing off the release of her newest album, "Happier Than Ever," this cinematic concert experience fea- tures an intimate recording of the album, live from the legendary Hol- lywood Bowl in Los Angeles. With a combination of live and animated film elements, this Disney+ original special takes viewers on a dream- like journey, set to the iconic scen- ery of Eilish's hometown. Featuring guest appearances by co-creator Finneas O'Connell (also Eilish's brother), this visual music journey is co-directed by Robert Rodriguez ("Machete," 2010) and Patrick Os- borne ("Drawn Closer," 2021). "Cesar Millan: Better Human Better Dog" - Season 1 The "Dog Whisperer" Cesar Millan is back with a brand-new reality series from National Geographic, "Cesar Millan: Better Human Better Dog," airing Wednesday, Sept. 1 on Disney+. Dog adoptions have recently hit an all-time high, so Cesar Millan returns to television to help new owners teach their dogs good habits and equip them with the tools to give their furry friends the happiest, healthiest home lives possible. With over 25 years of dog training experience under his belt, Millan takes training to a whole new level as the humans he meets learn how to be the best owners possible to their hard-working pups. From puppies who don't know how to walk on a leash to service dogs out of control, Cesar Millan deals with it all as Dustin Rubin ("Nathan's Kingdom," 2020) narrates the series. "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" (2019) The X-Men franchise's most recent installment, "X-Men: Dark Phoe- nix," comes to Disney+ on Friday, Sept. 3. A sequel to 2016's "X-Men: Apocalypse," this film tells Jean Gray's (Sophie Turner, "Game of Thrones") origin story as she goes through her transformation into Phoenix. With powers triggered by a cosmic force that enhances her psychic abilities, Jean struggles against herself to control her pow- ers and avoid hurting those around her. As her powers begin to corrupt her, the X-Men must decide if saving her life is worth risking the world. Based on the characters by Marvel legends Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" is directed and written by Simon Kin- berg ("Logan," 2017). The film's all- star cast is rounded out by James McAvoy ("The Sandman"), Michael Fassbender ("Prometheus," 2012), Jennifer Lawrence ("The Hunger Games," 2012), Nicholas Hoult ("Mad Max: Fury Road," 2015), Tye Sheridan ("Ready Player One," 2018), Evan Peters ("Kick-Ass," 2010) and Jessica Chastain ("Zero Dark Thirty," 2012). WHAT'S NEW ON PRIME "Cinderella" (2021) Take a magical trip to a kingdom far, far away with this modern, live- action musical adaptation of "Cin- derella," premiering Friday, Sept. 3, on Prime. Singer Camila Cabello (known for the pop hit "Havana") stars as Cinderella, a young girl who lives with her abusive step- mother and stepsisters. A bold new take on the classic Disney story, the new Cinderella has a heart full of drive and talent, working hard to make her dreams come true against all odds. With her woodland animal friends and fabulous godmother (Billy Porter, "Pose") to help her along the way, Cinderella learns how to live life for herself. Heartfelt and fun, this new film adaptation also stars Idina Menzel ("Frozen," 2013), Nicholas Galitzine ("Cham- bers"), Pierce Brosnan ("Tomorrow Never Dies," 1997), Minnie Driver ("Speechless"), Maddie Baillio ("Hairspray Live!," 2016), Charlotte Spencer ("The Duke," 2020), James Acaster ("Hypothetical"), James Corden ("The Late Late Show With James Corden") and Romesh Ranganathan ("King Gary"). Kay Cannon ("30 Rock") is the writer and director of the film.
