Among the hundreds of well-known global brands it helps are AT&T, Michelin, PepsiCo, Caterpillar, and Samsung. Ontiveros and Group O have assisted these and many other Fortune 500 companies in turning their most complex business cha- llenges into centers of profi- tability and efficiency. During the COVID 19 pandemic, Group O rapidly expanded into the gover- nment sector where it was awarded contracts for pro- jects as varied as COVID-19 hotline call centers and large metropolitan transit autho- rity customer service. The marketing division increased its client list by more than 30 percent during the past year. Packaging remains a core business division, but it, too, has evolved with the company. A growing part of this business is packaging optimization assessment, where Group O evaluates a company's entire packaging operation to iden- tify efficiencies, waste, and opportunities for cost savings. Custom packaging, especia- lly sustainable packaging, is another emerging trend where Group O is seeing significant growth in the U.S. and Mexico. For the next 10 years, Group O continues on a path of growth as it conti- nues to diversify its services and increase its workforce and locations across North America. Digital payment solutions, sustainable packa- ging, and an increased focus on international operations are all expected to occur in the next decade. Group O is constantly evolving alongsi- de its clients, allowing it to react quickly to their challen- ges while driving new stan- dards of excellence. Throughout his career, Ontiveros has mentored His- panic and other minority and non-minority business owners and entrepreneurs. He has been candid about the lessons he learned and has offered advice and referrals to key contacts. Ontiveros holds a bachelor's degree in business from Colorado State University and lives in Daven- port, Iowa, with his family. For Latinos who want to start their own businesses or want to grow the business they have, Ontiveros has this advice: "Dream big, work hard, stand out. It is critically important for young Latinos to advocate for them- selves and their communities." $1 billion Group O is a Hispanic powerhouse Based in Moline, Illinois, Group O is one the largest Hispanic business in the nation.
