Carolyn was born in Lincoln County, NC on May 10, 1946 a daughter of the late Ralph Fredrick Clippard and Beedie Sutton Clippard. She is survived by her daughter, Caroline "Shannon" Proctor Brown and husband, Roger of Lincolnton; a grand- son, Michael Levi Brown of Lincolnton; and a sister, Elaine Hefner of Cherryville. Born in Gaston County, he was the son of the of the late Larry Farish and Evelyn Painter Farish. Survivors: Wife, Phyllis Detter Farish, Kings Mountain, NC; Daughters: she was the wife of Boyd Shipman and daughter of the late Frank and Rosa Sprouse. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Franklin and Arthur Sprouse. In addition to her hus- band, she is survived by three sons; Casey, Tracey, and Boyd Shipman; one daughter, Sundee Wallace; a brother, Danny Sprouse; a sister, Ann Hoffman; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Born in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late William and Birdie Dalton England. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Blanton; brothers, Larry and Butch England; and sisters, Louise Ramsey, Wanda Tate and Diane Beam. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Borders of Shelby; son, Dennis Blanton and wife, Lisa of Shelby; brother, Bobby England and wife, Carolyn of Ellenboro; sister, Joyce Loveless of Columbia, SC; grandchil- dren, Cody Borders and fiancé Pamela Anderson of Shelby, Leslie Kale and Mitchell Blanton; six great grandchildren, including spe- cial great grandson, Sylas Blanton.
