WHAT'S NEW ON HULU: "Hotel Mumbai" (2018) In 2008, a group of terrorists laid siege to the Taj Hotel in Mumbai, India. On Monday, Sept. 9, Hulu presents "Hotel Mum- bai," which recounts the heart- breaking story of this gruesome attack. On a day that begins like any other, Arjun (Dev Patel, "Lion," 2006) kisses his family goodbye and leaves for work as a waiter at the Taj Hotel. Not long after his arrival at the hotel, 12 terrorists arrive in Mumbai and begin killing their way through the city in pairs, each with a dif- ferent destination, like a train sta- tion, a cafe ... or the Taj Hotel. When Arjun hears a news report of attacks happening throughout the city, he and the rest of the staff worry but try to remain calm in front of their guests. When groups of people turn up at the Taj begging for sanctuary, hotel manager Dilip (Vipin Sharma, "The Final Call") lets them in, un- aware that four terrorists are among them. Carnage ensues as the killers follow orders to shoot anyone in sight.
