Recently he has combined his professional work with his personal passion for fetish, and developed Grown Up Networks and the MAXIMUS platform, where work and play can meet. He wishes to explore the market for professional gay fetish photography and raise the bar much higher, MAXIMUS is the the intersection of 10 years as a photographers agent and a real personal passion [...] for fetish MAXIMUS is the worlds first network for professional gay fetish photography. Despite there being a large number of men interested in this many are not sure who or where to turn to in order to get a classy and artistic result. MAXIMUS wishes to raise the standard of fetish photography and make it accessible for anyone to engage with this type photography in a safe, fun and professional way. The main objective of MAXIMUS is to amplify this trend and give gay men with a passion for fetish a sense of pride in how they are seen. Diversity Rules Magazine welcomes Luke Lalor! JRK: Can you give Diversity Rules readers an idea of who Luke Lalor is and your background and how its impacted the person you are today? LL: I was born and raised in Australia, and grew up with great sense of wanderlust. I traveled the world and landed in Berlin. I worked for 10 years as a photographers producer and agent. I grew up in the only town in Australia that isnt by the ocean and this made my desire to explore the world even stronger. JRK: You have worked extensively in the photo industry. What kind of projects have you worked on? LL: Everything from very large corporate photo shoots for T-Mobile to extravagant celebrity portraiture for top magazines worldwide to a lot of sport-related photography in strange locations and under strenuous conditions. Weve had projects where weve shot in locations such as Austria, Monaco and Mauritania all in almost 48 hours. JRK: You have combined your professional work with your personal passion for fetish. Can you explain what fetish is for those that may not be familiar with it? LL: One of our photographers writes in his bio that living is fetish. It can really be anything and everything, and we dont want to succumb to a rigid definition. Instead we encourage people to find their own sense of fetish, and then do everything we can to meet their expectations. JRK: The creation of Grown Up Networks and the MAXIMUS platform was grounded in your personal passion for fetish. Can you explain the purpose of each and what they are all about? LL: Grown Up Networks is an incubator for a series of ideas all in the adult sector. We offer products and services for niche markets that need to be addressed and exposed. MAXIMUS is a product of that philosophy. With MAXIMUS we wish to raise the bar of fetish phoPhoto By: Lars Bormann/www.maximusmaximus.com
