Author Mike Sullivan's new
mystery thriller Fort Drake Is-
land has just been released
from World Castle Publishers,
Pensacola. Florida on April 29,
2019. Sales have been brisk due to the unusual sub-
ject ma er of the novel and its impact both domes-

A significant part of Mike's novel deals with the at-
tude one has toward cultural diversity in our coun-
try. It is seen through the eyes of heroine Margot
Krause, an aging Hollywood MTF transgender who
once was a famous movie star. She believes the key
to an intolerant a tude toward people with alter-
nate lifestyles is tolerance. Accept people for what's
in their hearts instead of passing judgement. At the
Gay Pride Parade of 2017 in Los Angeles she deliv-
ers this message in front of the media and a par -
san crowd and receives a thunderous ova on. She is
well loved among the Gay community.
Margot's life encompasses much of the book. How-
ever, there are other things going on at Fort Drake
Island. Intense power struggles, and the dark de-
pravity of a cool, jet-set crowd of elite Hollywood
film moguls reflect shady dealings occurring on the
island. Here children are cloned to resemble movie
stars from the Golden age of Hollywood. Sold into
cap vity eventually they turn up missing in Los An-
geles. Bulldog journalist Lester Fry learns about the
missing children and begins an inves ga on, put-
ng his life in danger. Eli sts with deep pockets will
kill anyone ready to expose their dark li le secret to
the world.
