��� CALENDAR OF EVENTS ��� Community Hunger Pack-A-thon Time: 9 a.m. to noon Where: St. Paul Lutheran Church/School, 701 Washington St., Grafton What is this Hunger Pack-A-Thon about? It is caring people working together to assemble rice based meals to help hungry and vulnerable children and families in Tanzania, East Africa sponsored by the nonprofit organization Simple Hope. How can you help: Anyone age 4 to 104 can graciously donate one hour of time to assemble packets of food. The registration fee of $25 per person is tax deductible and purchases enough food to feed 100 people. If you don't have the time to help, you can sponsor a worker or a team or just pay for a box of food. For further information, email simplehopeinfo@gmail.com or visit www.simple-hope.org. The Happy Racers Time: 3 p.m. Where: Cedarburg Cultural Center, W62 N546 Washington Ave., Cedarburg Cost: $5 The Happy Racers, along with author Barbara Joosse and artist Rene�� Graef, who recently collaborated on the book ���Cedarburg,��� will be the featured artists-inresidence at Westlawn School through Friday . Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to hone their creative writing skills with Joosse; have fun creating a mural with Graef, which will be displayed at Partnership Bank in Cedarburg; and co-write a song with Meckel, which will be heard at the Saturday concert. Tickets are available at the door or at Partnership Bank, the Cedarburg Lbirary and the Cedarburg Cultural Center. Fifth annual Cedarburg Winterguard and Indoor Percussion Invitational Time: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Where: Cedarburg High School Field House and Vintage Gym, W68 N611 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg Cost: $7 adults, $5 kids 10 and under at the door Cedarburg High School will host the Midwest Color Guard circuit contest. The Cedarburg unit���s show is themed ���Out of the darkness, we illuminate and create colorgul scenes of our own,��� and will feature soundtracks from the Cirque live show "O" and movie "Journey of Man." Monte Carlo Night Time: 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Where: Jackson Area Community Center, Jackson Cost: $10 advance, $15 at the door The event is a benefit event for the Jackson Jt. Parks & Recreation Department and will include live music by the 5 Card Studs, silent and live auctions and Vegas On Wheels games. Liberty Memorial Public Library , 1620 11th Ave., Grafton Concept Cafe is a monthly get together of people talking about ideas, over a cup of coffee. Each month has a different topic. Info on that topic is sent out via email ahead of time. The Cafe meets the first Monday of each month. Tuesday Feb. 5 , Four-Year-Old preschool Parent Informational Meeting Time: 6:30 p.m. Where: Dunwiddie Elementary School, 1243 W Lincoln Ave., Port . Washington Registration packets will be available at the meeting. Packets will also be available at any PWSSD elementary school office or at the District Office beginning Feb. 6. Rain date for the meeting is Feb. 6. Preschool registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 12 at Dunwiddie Elementary School and Saukville Elementary School. Your child���s birth certificate and immunization record must be presented at the time of registration.
