Scott Walker and Democrat Tony Evers are tied and Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin has an 11 percentage-point lead over Republican Leah Vukmir in the latest Marquette Law School poll of Wisconsin vot- ers. The results are similar to earlier polling. Walker and Evers each had 47 percent of voters favoring them and Libertarian Phil Anderson received 3 percent. Baldwin leads among likely voters with 54 percent sup- porting her, while 43 percent support Vukmir. And there are few undecid- ed likely voters, according to the respected poll. For governor, only 1 per- cent say they lack a prefer- ence or do not lean to a candi- date and 1 percent declined to respond to the question. In the Senate race, only 2 percent say they lack a pref- erence or do not lean toward a candidate and 1 percent did not respond. The poll was conducted Oct. 24-28. In the previous Marquette poll conducted Oct. 3-7, Walker had 47 percent of the likely voters and Evers has 46 percent. In early October, Baldwin had 53 percent sup- port and Vukmir 43 percent of those likely to vote. Likely voters are defined as those who say they are cer- tain to vote in Tuesday's elec- tion. When polling is widened to all registered voters, whether they're sure to vote or not, the Republicans gained a slight bump. Among all registered vot- ers surveyed in the poll, Walker receives 47 percent in the race for governor, with Evers receiving 44 percent and Anderson at 5 percent. In the Senate race, among all registered voters, Baldwin receives 52 percent and Vukmir 42 percent. In the race for Wisconsin attorney general, Republican incumbent Brad Schimel is the choice of 47 percent of likely voters in the latest poll and Democrat Josh Kaul is the choice of 45 percent of likely voters. Seven percent lack a preference in this race and 2 percent did not respond. In the early October poll, Schimel held 47 percent and Kaul 43 percent of likely voters. Latest Marquette poll has Walker, Evers neck and neck Baldwin has 11-point lead over Vukmir
