The program, now in its seventh year, gives Northwestern Mutual employees an opportunity to nominate a nonprofit organization in the area to receive funding from the Northwest- ern Mutual Foundation. A total of $225,000 is being donated through grants this year. The Waukesha County winners included Christine Stone of Brook- field, William Wick of Pewaukee and Nichole Albee of the Town of Vernon. Northwestern Mutual posted a video on YouTube showing staff members. Stone, who received $10,000 for Vision Forward, is among those fea- tured in the video. She recounted how the organization had helped her son. Albee is also among those featured. She received $10,000 for the ALS Asso- ciation – Wisconsin Chapter.
